Puppy Class 101
A 4-week course for puppies 12 weeks and older. Our 101 Class focuses on basic manners and household control. Skills taught include sit, recalls, down, wait, walking on a loose leash, and leave it. Topics addressed including jumping, barking, digging, mouthing, understanding the value of your dog’s name, and grooming tips.
All of our puppy classes are limited to 12 participants. Puppies must have completed their first two sets of distemper/parvo vaccinations before starting classes.
Puppy Class 201 and STAR Certification
This 4-week class builds on the skills taught in our 101 Class. We will focus on helping you build your dog’s confidence and improving your dog’s skills, even when distracted. We’ll offer your pups socialization opportunities, and introduce them to the Resort’s swimming pools. Dogs and owners who complete both our 101 and 201 puppy classes can test for the American Kennel Club’s STAR title.
