Massage Assessments

A brief chat with the owner and an assessment on each pet is suggested prior to a session to determine the most effective plan.  Sessions vary in price depending on the size of the pet and the service requested.  Full sessions usually run between 30 and 60 minutes; the duration depending on the dog’s willingness, as well as the type of massage being given.

Reiki

This gentle and non-invasive practice assists the body in rebalancing its own vital energy system.  It brings together the physical and emotional aspects and supports the body's own natural healing process.

What Does Reiki Involve?

The practitioner’s hands are placed gently on or just above your dog's body, and the treatment is guided by their energy ebb and flow.  Reiki is a calming and soothing therapy, perfect for dogs who may not be comfortable with being handled or massaged.

Mini Massage

Mini massages are perfect to help our guests acclimate to being away from their human companions.  Mini massages have been shown to decrease stress and increase appetite for those animals that may suffer from separation anxiety.  You can also add-on a Mini Massage to any other service, such as boarding or grooming.

Important Note: Massage is never intended to replace veterinary care. We encourage you to always consult with your veterinarian regarding your pet’s health and care. In some instances we may require a release from your veterinarian for your pet to participate in massage.
