12TH ANNUAL BARK IN THE PARK

Saturday, September 11 10 am – 2 pm Olympus Park, Rio Rancho

Once again, Enchantment Pet Resort & Spa is proud to be the lead sponsor for Bark in the Park. Bring the entire family for a fun filled day of doggie demonstrations, contests, prizes, educational booths and pet services.

Adopt a new pet, read to therapy dogs or just enjoy the company of people who love dogs as much as you do.

Sign your dog up for one of our contests: Best Photo, Best Ball Catcher, Best Stay while being Tempted by a Treat, Best Kisser, or Best Tailwagger. Entry fees are $5 per contest. Contest proceeds will be donated to Rio Rancho Animal Control.

Microchipping will be offered for $25. A limited number of chip services will be available.

Enchantment Pet Resort's Salon and Spa has joined efforts with Matter of Trust, a charitable organization, to aid in the environmental clean up of the massive gulf oil spill.

Hair naturally soaks up oil -- that's why hair gets dirty and that's why we wash it. Since 2000, Matter of Trust has been collecting dog and human hair from salons around the country. The hair is then made into booms or woven into carpets, and used to soak up oil from oil spills that occur every year.

This is just such a great...and simple solution, we wanted to be a part of it. And now our hair won't go into the dumpster, and then the landfill.
