A 6-week course for puppies 12 weeks to 6 months of age. Classes cover basic skills, including housetraining, suggestions for crate training, coming when called, walking nicely on a leash, not jumping on people, waiting at doors or gates, and, of course, sit, down, and stay. In addition, we will discuss general health, nutrition, and grooming issues. Our Fun with Puppies classes place a special emphasis on confidence building and introduce you and your puppy to the sport of agility. All of our Fun with Puppies classes are limited to 12 participants. Puppies must have completed their first two sets of distemper/parvo vaccinations to attend classes. We participate in the American Kennel Club’s S.T.A.R. program, which is a training certificate program for you and your puppy. Check our current class schedule. |
