For those who would like individual instruction in agility, we offer one-on-one Competitive Skills session with our trainers. These sessions are 25 minutes in length.

A 7-week class for graduates of Family Dog. This class will give you and your dog more skills at home and in the community — so you and your dog can enjoy being together in a variety of places. Skills include learning to greet a friendly stranger, greet another dog on leash, walk through a crowd, stand for grooming or an examination, and maintaining manners even when the owner is out of sight. This class is for dogs and handlers that have completed some basic obedience classes and wish to go on training for either competiton purposes or to introduce their dogs to competitive exercises. Competition excercises include heeling, stays,stands, drops. jumping, retrieving, scent work and directed work. Proofing and distraction training is included. Each excercise is designed to cover the abilities of the dogs and handlers and to encourage progress. This class is open to all levels of dogs, whether they are Novice, Open or Utility. Classes are taught in a series of 4-week sessions.
