Our day camp programs are designed to provide

• an interactive environment for your dog to build positive social behaviors with other dogs and people
• your dog with physical exercise, mental stimulation, and stress relief from boredom or separation anxiety
• reinforcement of basic training and manners, such as walking nicely on a loose leash
• you with peace of mind that your pup is safe and happy while you’re away
• you with down time at the end of the work day, because your dog is less anxious and has had the opportunity to exercise and release his energies appropriately

 Individualized day care is available for the less social dog- ask about our Getaway offerings.

 

Our Resort offers

• more than 12,000 square feet of play area
• 7,600 square feet of out door play yards, with natural or built-in shade, and synthetic lawn to keep your dog comfortable and clean
• 3,100 square foot Swim Spa, featuring a play fountain and a play pool, with water depths ranging from 6 inches to 22 inches
• individual rooms with privacy panels, for a calm and relaxed nap time
• Red Cross Pet CPR trained staff

Camp Assessments

All dogs applying for enrollment in our Day Camp or Swim Camp programs must be must be spayed or neutered if they are over the age of 6 months. They must also be assessed by our camp staff before they are accepted into either program. Assessments are conducted over a 3 or 4 day period, to allow your dog to get to know our facility, our staff members, and the new friends she'll be interacting with. Assessments include the purchase of 3 or 4 days of camp or swim camp, and a $15 assessment/enrollment fee.

Once in our Camp program, dogs may be reassessed periodically. In addition, dogs that have not attended camp in the previous six months need to be reassessed before they are readmitted to camp or swim camp.

Day Camp

Our play groups are organized by temperament, activity level, and size. Groups are supervised 100 percent of the time, and range in size from 15 to 20 dogs per camp counselor. Play sessions are approximately 2 hours.  

  Swim Camp

Our Swim Camp groups are organized by temperament, activity level, and size. Groups are supervised 100 percent of the time, and range in size from 15 to 20 dogs per lifeguard. All dogs will be required to wear collars during Swim Camp. And some dogs will be required to wear lifejackets. Play sessions are approximately 3 hours. Swim time will be approximately 30 minutes of the morning session.

Getaway Day & Getaway Swim Day

If your dog doesn’t enjoy a play group setting, or doesn’t meet one of our camp criteria, he can still enjoy a day at the Resort, including two individualized play sessions and a private room for nap time. Getaway Day Care is available in full or half-day increments. Full day includes two 30-minute play times.

Getaway Swim Day is available in full or half-day increments; full day includes one 45-minute pool/play session and one 30-minute play time. Swim assessments are required for all dogs.

Sit. Stay. Play.

Does your dog need a skills tune-up? Is she jumping on people. Pulling on the lead? Bolting out of doors? Not sitting or staying on command? Talk to one of our trainers and we’ll set up a 10-day tune-up program, to develop your dog’s specific basic skills, and allow your dog to socialize for part of the day, as well. Available in a 10-day, full-day package only, for $322.

Reservations and late arrivals

We require advance reservations for our Day Camps and Swim Camps. We do everything possible to ensure the safety of all of our campers. One way we do this, is to closely monitor our camper-to-counselor ratio. By knowing how many campers are scheduled for each day, we can staff appropriately.

We are unable to guarantee walk-ins will be assigned to a camp. We can, however, provide walk-ins with individualized Getaway Day Care. In addition, we are unable to introduce campers into a play group, once the play group has been established. Please be sure your camper is at the Resort by 8:15 a.m.

 Dogs under the age of 8 will also be covered by the Healthy Pet Plan, which includes a fee of 50 cents per day.
