At Enchantment Pet Resort, your pet’s health and well being are our first priority. We do everything possible to maintain a clean, healthful environment for all of our guests. But, we recognize that putting pets together in a shared environment is a bit like putting kids together at a daycare or school. Germs happen.
That’s why we created the Healthy Pet Plan warranty program. If your dog participates in lodging, grooming, daycare, swimming or other activities, he or she is covered by the plan for a nominal fee of 79 cents per pet per day. The plan’s maximum coverage is $250.00 per pet per incident with an annual maximum coverage of $1,000. A warranty program like ours is just one of the ways we go the extra mile for our customers, in offering you peace of mind with your pet’s care.
The plan covers contagious illnesses that your pet may contract during his or her stay at the Resort. And because we recognize that some illnesses have an incubation period, the plan’s coverage is active for up to 10 days after your pet leaves the Resort.
In the rare instance that your pet is injured at the Resort, the Healthy Pet Plan may also provide coverage. The plan will not cover injuries that are a result of fighting or rough play between pets that are lodging together in the same room at your request.
To make a Healthy Pet Plan claim, you must
- Have taken your pet to the veterinarian for care within 10 days of your pet’s departure from the Resort.
- Contact the Resort’s Concierge within 15 days of your pet’s check out from the facility.
- Provide the Concierge with a written diagnosis from your veterinarian regarding your pet’s illness or injury.
- Provide the Resort Concierge with a copy of the veterinarian’s bill showing a breakdown of all charges, and that the bill has been paid. The plan reimburses you directly; it does not pay your veterinarian.
The Resort Concierge you speak with will submit your claim to the Healthy Pet Plan administrator, once all of your paperwork has been received. Each claim is reviewed individually. You can generally expect to hear back from the Plan administrator within 10 working days from the date the claim is filed.
